Water ripple

When you give to Teen Challenge, your financial support not only helps men and women struggling with addiction, but it also has a ripple effect that reaches much further than an individual in our program.

Changed Lives

Your gift is the lifeblood of our ministry. Teen Challenge Canada exists not only to help men and women become free from substance addiction but also equip them to live meaningful lives beyond our walls.

Through our program, men and women are discovering the life-changing power of God’s forgiveness and grace. As they start to truly understand the significance of Jesus’ atonement at the cross, their lives are transformed. They leave the past behind and start to live as a new creation with purpose and hope for a different future.

restored families

Addiction can destroy families; trust is broken, hopes are dashed, and it takes a lot of work to repair the damage. Our clients work with counsellors to understand the hurt, take responsibility for their part, and work towards reconciliation with parents, spouses, and children.

Over time a flicker of hope begins. With focused effort, trust is regained and forgiveness is extended. Many families (though not all) experience renewed relationships – often far richer than they’ve ever experienced before.

communities

Teen Challenge graduates become positive contributors to their communities. Many of our graduates go on to volunteer with others who are experiencing addiction. Through our program, they learn that sharing their story can make a difference in someone else’s life. Rather than looking at their addiction as a statistic or stigma, they use their experiences to encourage others. Their changed life brings hope to others.

the workforce

Many Teen Challenge clients are accomplished in a career when they come to our program, while many others have struggled to find their way; but everyone can benefit from the multitude of skills learned through the program. Whether it’s better communication skills, conflict management, teamwork, or public speaking – our graduates re-enter the workforce with confidence and integrity.

An honest and trustworthy employee with these skills not only benefits the company but can positively influence coworkers and the overall working environment.

the church

It’s hard to argue with a transformed life! Often, our graduates are so enthusiastic about what God has done in their life, they can’t help but share their story with others. This can influence others to dig deeper and ask questions about faith – discovering Christ for themselves.

Teen Challenge graduates frequently become volunteers, mentors, and leaders within their church community.

generational

Coming to Teen Challenge and putting in the hard work means changing a family tree. When our clients break free from addiction, they break the cycle of addiction for future generations. Children of our graduates grow up in healthier homes and can learn from their parents’ journey.

As part of our Changed Lives initiative, you’ll meet Ricardo who inspired generational change in a way you’d never expect.

resources/support

Your gift not only supports the men and women that come to our centres for help. Your financial support allows us to support communities and churches through our Facing Addiction, Embracing Recovery workshops.

Your donation also helps us fund after-program care for graduates. These check-ins, supports, and resources help them stand strong in their recovery.

Additionally, our team provides resources to anyone affected by addiction—men, women, and their families—whether or not they attend a Teen Challenge program. We help people understand addiction and how to approach it, offering support to all who are seeking freedom and hope.

As you ponder where to direct your generosity, consider the ministry of Teen Challenge Canada. Your gift keeps giving—its impact ripples through lives, families, and communities.
