When drugs and alcohol control of your life, it can feel like there’s no way out. Relationships are strained, trust is broken, and opportunities have been squandered. Breaking the cycle of addiction can feel out of reach.

Many times, our clients arrive at our centres defeated and desperate for change. They may have tried quitting on their own or have several failed attempts at rehab. Perhaps Teen Challenge is their last hope.

Our Hope is in Christ

Teen Challenge Canada is a faith-based recovery program and is built on the foundation of Christ’s forgiveness and grace.

We believe hope cannot come from sheer willpower or therapy alone. A relationship with our creator is what gives our clients true hope through spiritual renewal. Every one of us needs God’s grace and are continually being reformed by Him.

A new life in Christ means we are freed from our old self and restored – new hearts, new minds, new eyes to see things in a new way.

Hope Motivates Change

When our clients find true hope in Christ, their hearts are transformed. With each step on the road to recovery, hope provides motivation and encouragement. God will use our challenges to refine our character and our resolve.

Our Graduates Inspire Hope

For many of those entering our program, there is nothing more powerful than hearing a client or graduate testimony that sounds very much like their own. Listening to stories of transformation provides hope and encouragement that change is possible.

Approximately 25% of our staff are graduates of the program. These success stories not only provide hope to new clients, but they make wonderful mentors because they have walked a mile – not in our clients’ shoes but definitely down a similar road.

A Community of Hope

A vision of hope is shared by our staff, and the donors, volunteers, and churches that partner with us. By supporting Teen Challenge Canada, these partners are expressing their confidence in our program and, most importantly, our clients.

If you, or someone you love is struggling with addiction and is looking for the hope that Teen Challenge Canada offers through Christ, please reach out to our team today. Change is possible.
